is an indonesian cancer researcher at the Cancer Research UK Scotland Institute, and a pharmacist, lecturer, and entrepreneur working across pharmacology, cancer biology, genetics, and molecular pathology. Combining rigorous scientific training with her lived experience as a cancer survivor, she focuses on translating discovery into patient-impactful, affordable diagnostics. A Pharmacy graduate from Universitas Gadjah Mada with further study at the Australian National University and the University of Nottingham, Susanti founded PT PathGen Diagnostik Teknologi to develop accessible genetic tests for cancer and infectious diseases in emerging markets. In 2022, PathGen launched its first product, Bio Colo Melt-Dx, a locally produced colorectal cancer molecular test validated in Indonesian patients and approved by the Ministry of Health. At Synbiotechfest 2025, she'll share practical lessons on moving cancer research from bench to bedside at scale.

Cynthia is a seasoned tech leader turned Venture Capitalist, with over 10 years of experience in technology, business analysis, business development, and commercial strategy as a former founder, operator, and management consultant. Cynthia held several leading positions in multiple startups across sectors, primarily focusing on commercial strategy and business development/analysis. She led and built one of the categories in Ula, a B2B Commerce backed by Jeff Bezos. Before that, she was Head of Sales Strategy & Analytics and spearheaded international expansion initiatives in Go-Jek. She co-founded a retail-as-a-service startup, making premium retail space accessible to DTC brands in Indonesia. She receives MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, MSc in Strategy Marketing from Imperial College London and BSc in Industrial Engineering from Institute Technology of Bandung.

Prof. Fenny Martha Dwivany is a professor specialized in genetics and molecular biotechnology at the School of Life Sciences and Technology, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Indonesia. She earned her PhD in Biology from the University of Melbourne in 2004 and has a strong research focus on plant molecular biology, particularly related to bananas. Her research includes studying fruit ripening, plant-disease interactions, and developing biological control technologies with multi-omics and bioinformatics approaches. She leads a research group known as “The Banana Group”, which focuses on the biological properties of bananas and post-harvest biotechnology.
